The Digital Menu / QR Menu Manager ensures that guests receive accurate, visually appealing, and easy-to-use digital menu experiences across all guest touchpoints. This role sits within the Technology & Systems function and supports both front-of-house operations and revenue performance by keeping menu content current, compliant, and aligned with brand standards. The position typically reports to the Technology Manager, Operations Manager, or Director of Operations, depending on the size and structure of the venue.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage digital menu platforms: Update and maintain QR menus, digital menu boards, and online menu systems to reflect live product availability, pricing, promotions, and seasonal changes.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency: Work closely with bar, kitchen, purchasing, and marketing teams to confirm menu descriptions, allergens, allergens updates, pricing, and item status are correct across all channels.
  • Support guest experience: Ensure menus are easy to navigate, mobile-friendly, visually on-brand, and optimized for speed, clarity, and upselling.
  • Coordinate menu launches and changes: Upload new items, remove discontinued items, and schedule menu changes for events, dayparts, special promotions, and private functions.
  • Monitor system performance: Check that QR codes, links, menu pages, and integrations are functioning properly and troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize service disruption.
  • Maintain compliance and standards: Ensure menus meet legal and venue requirements, including allergen disclosure, licensing-related messaging, age-restricted product notices, and pricing transparency.
  • Analyze and improve: Review guest usage patterns, engagement, and sales data to identify opportunities to improve menu design, item placement, and conversion.

  • Comfortable working across operations, technology, and marketing teams
  • Able to manage content updates accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech-savvy, proactive, and responsive to issues before they impact service
  • Strong communicator who understands both guest experience and commercial objectives

This role suits someone who enjoys blending operational precision with digital presentation and understands that a well-managed menu directly influences guest satisfaction, service speed, and sales.
