The Marketing Manager drives awareness, demand, and brand consistency across the restaurant, club, or lounge. This role turns the venue’s concept, events, promotions, and guest experiences into clear, compelling campaigns that attract the right audience, increase footfall, and support revenue growth. It is a commercial and creative position that connects the brand promise to day-to-day guest demand.

This role sits within the Sales, Marketing & Guest Experience function and typically works closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager, Events team, and external creative or media partners. The Marketing Manager usually reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager, or another senior leader depending on the structure of the venue. They are responsible for ensuring all marketing activity aligns with business goals, guest expectations, and the overall positioning of the venue.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the venue’s marketing plan, campaigns, and promotional calendar
  • Managing social media, website content, email marketing, and digital advertising
  • Creating and maintaining brand standards across all guest-facing communications
  • Promoting events, seasonal offers, private hire, table bookings, and VIP experiences
  • Coordinating with operations and guest experience teams to ensure marketing matches the actual guest journey
  • Monitoring campaign performance, audience engagement, and return on investment
  • Working with designers, photographers, influencers, agencies, and media partners
  • Supporting reputation management through reviews, online presence, and public relations activity

The successful Marketing Manager is both creative and commercially minded. They understand hospitality culture, guest behaviour, and how to market experiences rather than just products. They are organised, proactive, and able to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong candidates are confident communicators with excellent attention to detail, digital marketing skills, and the ability to turn data into action. They work well cross-functionally, stay calm under pressure, and have the energy and adaptability needed in a dynamic restaurant, club, or lounge environment.
